From Our Bar to Yours: Christmas Cocktails Made Simple!

Let the festivities begin with a cocktail

Move over Eggnog, Mulled Wine and Mimosa’s. We’ve got something a bit different for you to try this party season. 

We challenged Aragma Bar Manager Luis to create two easy-to-make winter cocktails for you to impress your friends with this Christmas and New Year. As ever, he didn’t disappoint.

PEAR TREE TEA

The beauty of this fruity cocktails is that is can be served hot or cold. And with either Vodka or Gin, whichever you prefer. 

Ingredients:

Vanilla Rooibos Tea (either hot or cold) 

2  Strips of Orange Peel 

50ml   Pear Puree (you can either muddle this or whizz it in a Nutri bullet or food processor) 

50ml   Vodka or Gin (both work really well)

2 small scoops of Pomegranate seeds 

1 small sprig of Rosemary to garnish (optional)

Method:
1. Prepare the Pear Puree.
2. Add all of the ingredients to the glass, add ice if you are serving this cocktails cold. Then mix well with a long spoon. 
3. Top with pomegranate seeds and a sprig of rosemary. 
4. Serve.

 

NUTCRACKER BLISS

This festive treat is like a combination of a Ferro Roche and a Chocolate Orange, the Kings of Christmas Chocolates. 

Ingredients:

30 ml   Remy Martin V.S.O.P 

15 ml   Mozart Dark Chocolate Liquor 

15 ml   Frangelico 

2 slices of Orange Peel 

Method:
  1. Add all of the liquors to your chosen glass and mix well. Add ice. 
  2. Squeeze the orange peel over the glass to release the zest. 
  3. Enjoy.
